Atiba B uses ASL to sign about his excitement about  Obama and  the voting process to a  friend.
He tells her that he had just met the President-elect Obama at  his Hyde Park barbershop while getting a haircut several weeks ago.
Here's a video that I made of the joyous event at the free breakfast
celebrating native Hyde Parker and now
President-Elect, Barack Obama
at Valois in Hyde Park, Chicago on November 5, 2008.

And you thought the lines were over? A joyous and lively crowd lined down the block to celebrate Barack Obama's historic win with a free breakfast served by Valois restaurant in Hyde Park, Chicago on November 5th.
In the tradition of  Chicago's first Black Mayor, Harold Washington
and Bill Veeck, President-elect Barack Obama has been known to
stop in Valois, a diverse restaurant known for its down-to-earth
food, notable Hyde Parkers as well as common folk.

On East 53rd street in Hyde Park,  Chicago, cars honked horns for Obama,  T- shirts were selling fast, the  international  and local media were interviewing the crowd and a great breakfast was had by all on the first day after the historic win and election rally held in Grant Park, Chicago.
